I reproduced it on Windows 7, although the measured framerate hovered near 48 and not 36. Using Sync Mode audio did not exhibit the issue. Also using Native OpenGL did not exhibit the issue with any method of Sync Mode. I will discuss with @LongChair.
Great, the same issue as I reported then.
Do you also get the server undefined error message in the ‘new star’ channel tab?

Yes
Boom! Sounds promising, hopefully it will get looked at and fixed.
Meanwhile, can the version of PMP directly before the current version be made available for download please? At least then I can use the most recent version that works, rather than a really old one that I found by chance in my downloads folder.
Hi @LongChair okay, thanks for the response, at least I know now that it hasn’t been forgotten. Is there a rough timeframe for looking into it. Eg a week, a month, 6 months, a year?
I have tried OpenGL but refresh rate switching doesn’t work at all with that, it never has, so is not an option.
I also ran into this when updating PMP on my main NUC7i3BNH. Reverting to provided older version (2.10.0.849) fixed the problem. I have HW Acceleration enabled, Sync to Audio, Refresh rate switching enabled.
Normally the GPU/CPU loads are very small (<50%) but with the latest version both are repeatedly maxed out. This seems to cause the very choppy output at least in my case.
