Newest version of PMS (1.15.3.835) doesnt work on any device

Yea, so i was losing my mind thinking it was the new Nvidia shields I had purchased and the client on that side. Then i was thinking it was my VPN. Then i realized, it had been working all along on my VPN irrespective of device, and even working on my shields the first time i tried it during setup (a few days back)

So i tried my iphone and ipad, no bueno. So i uninstalled plex and rolled back to (1.15.2.793) and all is well on all devices, vpn or no vpn. Couldnt create playback session for this item is usually the error i get.

So then i gave it another update to try again. Cant access any media and gives a garbled hodgepodge of characters when trying to load a video. Rolled back, worked again.

So i thought - perhaps it was the auto updater. I tried to uninstall, and install the package manually. Still the same problem, newest beta update is no bueno.

So in short, im on 1.15.2.793 problem free and the newest version breaks access to media directly (still sees server etc, just cant play videos)

If this isnt already known, and logs are needed and someone wants to enlighten me on what logs i need to enable/where - Ill suck it up, break my plex and get em to ya, just lmk.

yea no bueno in the web player on the server PC either.

UNLESS its an item thats already partially played and i select continue.

If i try to start a fresh movie for example

An error occurred trying to play “details?key=%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2F1846”.

Error code: s1001 (Network)

I figured id give it one more shot after seeing something in another post with the “couldnt create plaback session for this item” error about re analyzing the library. No help.

also worth noting, it plays trailers … this is above me so if anyone has any suggestions or if its purely a bug in the newest version and i should avoid updating period.
