Unable to play any media since 1.21.1.3795

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3795
Player Version#: web Version 4.43.4

Since the last update, no media will playback whatsoever. It just says playback error. No further info. It was all working fine until the update. When the server wouldn’t come back after update. I installed from the web download. Still no joy.

A second issue is the update process itself when you tell the server to update from inside settings. It has been for some considerable time and versions, roll the dice and take your chances as to whether or not the server will come back on its own as its supposed to do or you have to either manually restart it or install from web download of the new version.

Seriously would it be so hard for you to licence or duplicate vlc player for playback???

Same. Just installed Version 1.21.1.3795 on Ubuntu.

I can say that it happened the same to me since Version 4.43.4. I cannot seem to stream any of my media. I keep getting the message:

“There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.”

Could anyone solve this issue?

Hi there. Just to let everyone know that I used revo to complete uninstall and after downloading the latest version of Plex Media Server, everything works again.
