On my Apple TV, I opened the TestFlight app, selected Plex Experience Preview, selected … More, then selected Stop Testing. Then, double-click the “TV” button on the remote and swipe up the TestFlight app.
Then, I opened this TestFlight link on my iPhone, and Accepted the invitation (it was previously showing as “full”).
Re-open TestFlight on the Apple TV, and it’s there!! Hooray!
Hello,
I can’t access the Testflight on my AppleTV.
I am connected with the same account as on my iPhone, on which I use the beta release from iOS Testflight.
When I launch AppleTV TestFlight, I only see “Welcome to TestFlight”, “Use a code”.
But the link to get a code for AppleTV isn’t working anymore, as I get : “This beta version of the app has reached the maximum number of allowed testers.”
Is there a way to be granted an access to the AppleTV TestFlight version?
I’ve noticed that my build expired.
When I checked TF it said that the build was removed.
Left and tried joining again with the link - beta full.
Guess I’m out of luck.
This happened to me again, and following the steps I previously posted worked again - though I had to also hit “Stop Testing” on the Plex Experience Preview for tvOS in the TestFlight iOS app, then I had to wait 2 or 3 minutes before it let me “accept” the invitation (it otherwise just kept saying the beta was full).
Second time this has happened to me. I waited maybe 90 seconds after un-enrolling myself and then clicked the link again on my iPhone and it let me in.
Sadly Beta full for me (ATV one with email preview-feedback@plexapp.com), and has been for at least a year now. Hoping to get a prized slot so I can use Plex on my ATV 4K with higher bitrate HD content.
I also stopped testing the “New Experience” testflight, that didn’t have any builds in it since the iOS new experience was released.
I remain in the iOS beta (with the email address iOS-beta.plex.tv), that is offering 2025.28.0 (1302) currently.
