Im streaming music from my windows server to my new NVIDIA SHIELD TV PRO.
When ever I activate lyrics and the song is over, instead of playing the next song, it takes me back to user selection, and I have to type in my pin again.
This happens of i press skip as well.
Of lyrics are off, this does not happen.
Also I dont have a way to scroll the lyrics using the new remote. But I think I found a way using an old ps3 controller.
I can confirm the bad behavior when a song ends while showing lyrics. My Shield (2017) returns to the home page rather than user selection, but that’s probably because I have ‘sign in automatically’ enabled.
My Player version is 8.2.0.18280.
As for scrolling the lyrics, press the right arrow on the remote once. The scroll thumb on the right edge of the cover image should turn orange. Then you can scroll. Not very intuitive.
Thanks. I’ll try that for the scrolling. The remote is different for the new shield I believe, so it might work differently.
I bought the new remote because I don’t care for the original. Anyway, the controls are the same in this regard.
Yep. Tried it, and it worked. Pressed left like an idiot first. 
I’ve heard good things about the new remote. I already have a Harmony Elite already, but I find myself clutching the new shield remote more these days.
I can confirm that this problem no longer occurs using Plex for Android 8.2.0.18361-beta.
