NFL Late Game Overwrites Padded Early Game

I currently have Plex DVR set to record all NY Jets and Giants games, with 60 minutes of padding each. Plex successfully initiates the recordings. However, on days when either team plays the early game on the network showing two games in my market, the early game gets deleted and replaced with 1 hour of the late game.

For example, last week the Giants played Jacksonville at 1pm ET on Fox. I partially watched that game as it was being recorded (so I know it was recorded). The recording that I have now, although labeled “NFL Football (2002) - 2018-09-09 13 00 00 - Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Giants” is actually the first 1 hour and 14 minutes of the Cowboys vs the Panthers., which was the 4:25pm game.

Also, this week, the Dolphins played the Jets at 1pm ET on CBS. Again, I partially watched the game as it was being recorded. The recording that I have now, although labeled “NFL Football (2002) - 2018-09-16 13 00 00 - Miami Dolphins at New York Jets” is actually the first 1 hour and 14 minutes of NE vs Jacksonville, which was the 4:25pm game.

I am using Plex Server Version 1.13.5.5332

Anyone else having the same problem?

This is an ongoing issue that was reported a long time ago and still shows up in certain recording types which are normally sports shows.

The real problem is that your server is showing it’s bias. It wants you to record the Eagles or Patriots instead of the NY teams. LOL

I’ve got the games recorded. Shoot me a PM if you need help.

Thanks Cayars. I did a forum search, but I guess not thorough enough.

The server was actually trying to spare me the pain of sitting through more NY losses.

Bad start of a week for me as well football wise. Most of my college teams I follow got wacked. Eagles got clobbered, Patriots flat out let me down. Dallas took down the Giants.

Someone could have made a fortune in Vegas this week if they just took my list and bet on the other team!

Oh well, at least I’m not a Browns fan. Now that’s real heart ache!
