No artwork or playback controls on music collection playback

Player Version: 10.30.6.4151 (Nvidia Shield)

When playing a music collection on the Nvidia shield, no artwork is displayed, just a blurred background. Additionally, no playback controls are shown. The only action you can perform is to go “back” to the previous screen.

Some additional information, this problem does not occur when playing music collections on Roku. It appears to be isolated to the Nvidia Shield Plex application.

The nVidia Shield is still using the legacy Plex for Android TV app.
Since apps are going to get migrated over to the Plex New Experience apps, this will probably not get fixed anymore.

I see, is there a way I can preview this new app on my Nvidia Shield?

No. At least not yet.
If you have one of the new Fire TV (Vega) devices or maybe a Roku, you can.

Thanks for answering. I will convert my collection to a playlist for the time being as those do display properly on the Nvidia Shield.
