It’s good to see the audio stream back and working again.
Must have been one or very few. Just checked and full. Guess will have to wait around and see how long it takes to get a slot or just use infuse on my 4 ATV 4Ks.
Oh that’s great news. Does this mean it’s going public at next release?

I’m pretty sure it will and that tends to happen fairly quickly for more critical stuff.
Personally I have now opted out of iOS/tvOS betas.
If something is released in Apple Land in the future I will carefully balance the value it may give against the issues it may cause. (I’m not lecturing, just learning from my own mistakes.)

Yes please either release the fix for EAC3 or open up more TestFlight slots.
I’m forced to use Infuse (and pay additionally for it) for what it seems a long time.

I can not see the Plex Apple TV version 7.22.
Spot on TestFlight opened up - keep checking, they do open up often.

I have been trying to join the beta almost daily without success so far 
Maybe they should restrict access to PlexPass holders only… it would be another nice perk
Yeah same here, been trying to join the beta with no luck. This iOS playback issue is driving me crayyyy.
Just throwing it out there that iOS, tvOS, etc 15 public beta 5 just released today with this issue still unresolved.

According to some other (Apple) beta testers, the issue appears to be fixed with the current (Plex) beta v7.22

I have been reading it, yes. My post was only to inform on the current situation, not to seek assistance.
Any idea on when this new version off the app will be public released?
Would be great to get a TF beta spot or have a date for when 7.2.2 will be publicly available.

Perhaps a kind Plex employee heard my plea or maybe it was sheer luck but last night I finally managed to join the beta. 
I can confirm that AC3 / EAC3 audio is back!
As an additional bonus you get the revised modern interface that is nearing perfection
For those of us trying to navigate the forum could this info be posted in the Players area rather than here in Servers?

7.22 is out now and fixed the problem with AC3 and EAC3. Sadly EAC3 Atmos still doesn‘t work on AppleTV 4k.

You may say that now, but the new player is still broken.
I just hit this problem with ATV Plex client v7.22 and the current Mac PMS, and until I switched to “use old player”, had no audio from files with (at least) HE-AAC or AC3 5.1.
