No audio plays along with jittery video (skipping forward every 2 seconds). This is not limited to locally served content - when testing even online content directly from the app exhibits the same symptoms (eliminating it as a local server issue more or less)
Have cleared data and cache from app, uninstalled app and reinstalled, hard power down TV and reboot, running app not signed into account.
Just started happening here too! Found another post which recommended changing advanced settings to passthrough and removing the DTS codec. Fixed for one video (which incidentally forced it to transcode the audio) but still no audio for most (which seem to be Direct Play)

I have the exact same problem on my Sony Bravia KD49XH9505BAEP (same Player version, Server version 1.21.1.3830)
I don’t even have audio on Tidal samples.
I’ve tried to find audio settings on the TV end, but I there are only Video settings (and audio Passthrough in advanced settings). Anyway, the issue seems to be with both audio (not working) and video (skipping forward every 2 seconds). My setup on that TV is simple, with only internal audio (no HDMI / optical output)
EDIT : I’m ressetting my TV to factory default, as I just noticed VLC also had a sound issue (I’m sure it was working) …
