So i do not have sound at all now. It has been working great for a long time.
So this is what’s going on. I added a couple movies to my media server and went to play one today, no sound what’s so ever. My son was watching Netflix and we have sound from that. Using Plex we have no sound but the video plays. System is still on 7.0 Android. I tried the same video on my iPad and pixel 2xl and sound is working. We have a sound bar, optical cable from the tv to the sound bar.
Have you tried changing the audio output option to the sound bar in your tv’s audio settings menu?
Yes, DirecTV works, PS4 works. Netflix app on shield works also
