Tuner Make/Model: Hauppage 416e DVB-S/S2 Tuner
Hi - I’ve added the above satellite tuner to my system and have installed the drivers and Hauppage WinTV software. This has been able to scan for and play channels fine with decent signal strength and no real issues.
I’ve then gone into Plex to add to add the tuner, when clicking ‘Setup plex tuner’ it correctly detects the tuner as ‘PCTV 292e/461e BDA 28179’ and asks me to confirm country (UK) and postcode (B31) when clicking next then asks me to scan channels and select the Satellite, LNB and band settings. So as per the community tuner spreadsheet I select 28.2E, None and Ku-Linear (universal) and hit ‘Scan channels’ however every time I get the error no channels found. I’ve tried multiple times but never been successful.
I’ve tried NPVR and this was able to scan for channels successfully, so I’m pretty sure it’s not an issue with the tuner or OS but unsure where else I could be going wrong.
Plex server is just a standard windows PC. Nothing unusual with the setup at all
