I just noticed that CC has gone away on my Roku Plex App. I have used Plex for a very long time and all our TVs are either Roku or have Roku devices attached. I can’t say how recently this has occurred because honestly we don’t watch that much TV. But I have verified that I cannot get CC to display on any of my Roku apps and have confirmed that the files in question will display CC if played on my PC either from the file directly through VLC or through the PC plex app. I have also verified that I can see CC on any non Plex content I pull up on those devices.
Web searches have not brought up much except for the general dissatisfaction with the new interface, (which I agree with but will adapt), but the no CC thing will force me to seek out a new platform. Would certainly be cheaper to find a new platform then replace my streaming devices.
