"Closed Caption" blues

I’ve been putting this off for a while but finally I decided to post it. Something has changed in the past few releases on Roku Player because subtitles classified as “Closed Captions” simply do not work (meaning do not display). They do work on my web Roku player but t his is not where I spend my time with Plex.

I know it’s very general and broad but can someone confirm or deny it that there are issues with “closed captions” on Roku Play (Preview)?

Closed captions also no longer work on FireTV or played through my Windows 10 browser.
