Closed Captions disable across entire Roku after playing VOBSUB video

< TL;DR: If I play a video with VOBSUB subtitles on Plex, CCs are disabled across all apps on the Roku. After playing a non VOBSUB video or stream on Plex, CCs reappear across all apps on the Roku>

Observed behavior:

  1. Play a personal Plex server video with embedded (VOBSUB) subtitles (i.e. not a channel or title streamed from Plex) until a subtitle appears. Exit Plex.
  2. Play any stream from another app that is expected to have CC – the CCs are not playing; confirm in multiple apps
  3. Go back to Plex and play a Plex server video or Plex channel or title streamed from Plex, until a CC appears. Exit Plex.
  4. Play any stream from another app that is expected to have CC – the CCs are now playing; confirm in multiple apps

Not sure what other trace detail you need, but I can reliably replicate this each time.
