No content available after Plex update on Synology NAS

I just updated Plex on my Synology NAS to 1.40.3.8555 and all my content is suddenly unavailable. Everything was working perfectly prior to the update.

As I’m typing, I see the following link popping up to the right.

After reading through the page, I don’t have a Plex user on the NAS. Maybe there was one before, but there isn’t now.

So if I create an account and apply the permissions, how does that solve the issue? How is this Plex user account going to connect the installed software? I don’t see the correlation.
