Hi all,

Lately (last 1-2 months), randomly some family members occasionally get an issue where upon opening their app (whether it’s on android, tv or desktop client) will either display “no available content found” or libraries will no longer be pinned. These are two separate issues, on the latter, the libraries are still there but not pinned, on the former issue, no libraries/content is found on their profile.

Sometimes this will rectify itself, other times I will have to either close/relaunch the server application or reboot server, other times clear their app data/cache and relaunch, or even deauth/reauth their client device. None of these temporary solutions seem consistent (sometimes a simple relaunch works, other times not and I’ll have to try one of the other solutions).

I’ve unclaimed/reclaimed the server, re-authed devices, changed password, changed port, reset my router to defaults, reshared libraries, cleaned up the database/reindex etc. I’m really just trying to avoid having to start from scratch and have to rescan/thumbmail every episode/movie (though I know there are ways to export/import watch states, I’ve seen comments saying it has become less reliable due to changes on plexs’ end).

Anyone have any experience with this (I’ve seen threads from years ago with similar issues but no solid “fix”)? Also if the only fix is to do a complete fresh server install/setup, is there an easy/reliable method to port across watch-history for users?
