No hardware transcodeing for h265/HEVC since 1 week

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5291
Player Version#: newest ios-App, newest Fire-TV Stick (Gen2) App 7.3.2.6276
Windows Version#: 10 Pro 1803 Build 17134.228

For a week, h265 movies are no longer decoded / encoded by the graphics card (Geforce GTX 970). I had the hardware (CPU, motherboard and RAM) exchanged a week ago. Since then, the H265 movies are no longer running. H264 and VC-1 are no problem. Driver of the Geforce is up to date.

GTX 970 can only encode HEVC in Hardware. HEVC Hardware decoding has been added later with the GTX 960.

This means that if Hardware decoding has been done before on your PC, it must have been done by the CPU. What was your CPU ? What is your CPU now ?

Are you sure? My old cpu was a AMD Phenom II X4 925 Andy Thema new CPU is a AMD Ryzen 5 2600.

okay, the GTX 970 can not decode H265, but Plex would have to go back to software decoding.
The CPU utilization is only at a maximum of 2% and then will be encoded nothing.

What exactly is happening ? Have you got no video or playback fails ?

Your server should decode HEVC in software and encode in H264 in Hardware.
Maybe try another player (Plex web), is it same result ? Also try with hardware acceleration disabled in PMS advanced settings, see if playback works then.

The movie is loaded (10-20 seconds), then the movie starts, after a few seconds the message appears that the server does not have enough power.

it should be so. Has worked on the old CPU too

Same result on all Clients (Web, iPhone, iPad, FireStick).
Without hardware acceleration, it works perfect
