No longer able to remotely connect - nothing has changed

I’ve used Plex for many years without any issues whatsoever.

All of a sudden I am no longer able to connect to my server/content remotely, but nothing changed at my end.

I’ve since tried disabling secure connections both server and client side and that also has gotten me nowhere.

I can connect locally seamlessly, but remote connections just don’t seem to want to work.

I’m happy to provide whatever information I can to keep troubleshoot this.

Maybe the change didn’t happen on your side. Go to your router status page and check if your WAN IP hasn’t changed to something like 100. If yes, then they put you behind a cgnat and you need to give them a call

Thanks for the reply.

I checked and it shows a regular ip - the same that shows on the remote access page in Plex.

Same issue here. Since yesterday I can no longer find my server outside the network. Plex itself informs me that remote access is ‘fully accessible outside your network’ though…

I had the same issue…and I dont see anything about fixing it…this stinks

My remote access 3 times now has shown inaccessible and cannot connect via 4G. When I refresh it by disable remote access and enable issue still presents.
Then changed it to manual leaving port default at 32400.

After a couple minutes connection! Green and 4G access!

Please others try my troubleshooting and see report back if a similar success story.

Version 1.24.3.5033 on Linux ubuntu server.

Nope. Doesn’t work for me. I’ve always been port-forwarding my server but now it doesn’t work.
