I updated my server to the newest build today build number 1.23.4.4805 now when I search for metadata it doesn’t work anymore Even the past video that has the correct metadata is just to see if it was affecting just new stuff old stuff to fix match nothing comes up so it can’t find any match I type …

Yep I’ve updated my Plex server every time and this is the first time I’ve had them at a data problem I’ve had other problems in the past but then they fix it but this was never happened to me before and I’ve been using clicks for 3 years now

I hope it is because that would be an easier fix that they can work on and just get fixing quick instead of having to wait for a patch to come out

Almost definitely. A bunch of people having 408s is not a coicidence. Something must be timing out on their server side. We’ll have to wait for an update from the Plex folks. I think this is likely independent of client or user actions.

I’d assume so, because lots of other servers on Linux, and Windows Server is having a reatable issue. I hope they fix it quick! I don’t want to go back to manually getting metadata.

Glad it’s no just me, Movie and TV agents have flatlined and return no search results. Thanks @BigWheel for promptly looking into it.

I just spent the last few hours troubleshooting it. Decided to come here to take a look only to see a bunch of the same issues. The legacy Movie Database agent still works. Not sure if you want to switch back to it or not to get metadata until this maybe gets fixed.

Major LOL that the relevant Plex status was recently updated to “Degraded service”. If “Degraded” is synonymous with “not working at all” - then sure haha.

I am closing this topic. as backend issues was resolved. Grid View Missing if you are still having issues it is probably something that would have happened regardless of the backend issue. Please make a new topic with details about what you were trying to match, file names etc.
