The option to select “Grid View” disappears as soon as the “Folder View” option is selected.
Screenhots attached. The “Grid View” option is available when viewing by “Movies” but when viewing by “Folder” this option is no longer available.

That is correct. Plex is changing the Web UI and currently you can’t change how folder view looks. That may change in the future but for now, it’s not available.
Hopefully this will be reverted sooner rather than later because it is a very poor user experience not being able to do so
I have downgraded the software on my Windows Laptop back to Version 1.6.3.1009-57cf57c8 until this issue is resolved, as this older version provided a much better and more efficient user experience and interface.
Why does upgrades is always taking a step back and breaks things that were working??? Like the military, Plex should have left things alone and not break things that worked!
Plex is changing the web UI…

Who actually thought this was a good idea, within Plex HQ ?
