Perhaps there’s a Foreign/off the wall/obscure/rare/etc Agent you could install, and someone else may be able to aim you there, but I am unaware of such a beast. If TMDB doesn’t have something I’m looking for - I’m already adding it. Been a contributing member for ages.
Note: The more research you do, the more accurate your information, the better contributing member you will become. I’m always fixing half-assed attempts by other members who are ‘just not that into it’. If you’re going to contribute - be into it.
Note 2: Textual data (descriptions. release years, actors, directors, producers, etc) will be available almost instantly, but poster images take a few days. Best to have one of those to use locally in that case.
For foreign films especially, sometimes the Meta data is found, which is great by Movie DB – but the poster isn’t there. So I do manually add it to Plex with a URL link (within my server).
So for instance, after you shared the Movie DB website, I see that it does find the movie:
Would you suggest me to make an account and then fill out that information? How does / When does that info get spit back to Plex?
Thanks for taking time to answer! I am willing to contribute and be into it. Just looking for help from veteran Plex users on this forum.
bring names and structures into compliance/ or the ultimate bundle reboot operation
replace corrected show/movie into library
update library
All Steps. In Order. No Shortcuts.
That old 15 year old bug about hanging on to a bundle still requires a few dance steps…
(unless they’ve changed their policies at TMDB - and I haven’t noticed)
