Title Matching Issue - Is in IMDB but not finding

I have the movie Mandali Tumchyasathi Kay Pan which has an IMDB entry at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8409530/. I have copied the title name from IMDB and pasted it into the title field in the Fix Match box (just in case I mis-spelt the filename), select The Movie Database as the agent but it doesn’t find it. I read you can enter tt8409530 in the title field of the Fix Match box (and set agent to The Movie Database) but it still says no matches found. Any ideas how I can help plex find it?

Use the IMDB ID# for Plex Movie - not The Movie Database. Plex Movie is IMDB.

That movie doesn’t exist at The Movie Database - so there’s nothing to find there.

Hello. I still get not found. In fix match box:

Agent: Plex Movie
Year: [blank]
Language: English

Yep, I just tested with:
Mandali Tumchyasathi Kay Pan (2013)
Got Nothing
and with:
tt8409530
at Plex Movie
and got nothing.

Apparently, and this is a guess, Plex and IMDB don’t do India.
or something along those lines…

You can change the Agent to Personal Media - and Hand Edit - or you can add the movie info to TMDB (by joining the ranks of the few, the proud, the whack-jobs - like me - that add info to TMDB).

Plex cannot find what’s not listed in the online databases used by the library agent… if that agent is using data from The Movie Database it’s not sufficient to find the title listed in IMDb

Plex Movie can’t find it at all for some reason - and the only place it’s listed is at IMDB.

Plex Movie uses The Movie Database API find by IMDB ID.

IMDB doesn’t have an API so you can’t search IMDB directly.
