UPDATE: I must have misread - my scanner and agent (Plex Movie and Plex Movie) for some reason say “allow matching for explicit content” instead of “allow adult content” and I thought I needed to enable that. I UN-CHECKED “Allow matching for explicit content” and everything started popping up again.
Hello All! I’ve noticed a weird thing where Only in my Movies library, when I click on an actor it no longer shows the actor biography, it only shows related movies that are in my library. I’m currently using Plex Movie Agent, I have “Allow matching explicit content” but still nothing, It worked before but just stopped.
In my TV series library using Plex Series agent, it works fine, and the biographies come up fine.
I tried switching my Movie agent to “The Movie Database”, refresh metadata and bam, everything pops up fine biographies and all, BUT I keep getting an error saying “Library Update Required” due to using legacy agent. When I update back to Plex Movie agent, all the biographies go away again. Any thoughts on what to do? I read somewhere that people recommended deleting the library and creating it all over again, but I’m not sure if that would work, and I’d rather not do that until exhausting all other options.
EDIT: if it matters, I do have a lifetime Plex Pass Subscription. And this happens on any player I use weather its Plex for Windows, Plex for Nvidia Shield, or Plex for Roku
