Why remove this massively useful feature to skip ahead and back? Is this an oversight or bug or what?

Same issue, thought i missed a new config option.
To date every other player has it, it’s standard… why remove it?!

Ha - I thought I must be doing something wrong. Now I see it’s just one of the many features broken in the latest release. This app is bad. Really bad.
Is there a way to get this feature back?
30 second is often too much and 1x forward and 2x backwards in not an option.

That was one of the few things that actually made watching stuff smooth.
Please bring it back asap. This is an essential feature. And if possible make the skip time configurable (but 10s was perfect for me)
Yes please make this a priority addition. Having to downgrade to regain such a basic function is dumb.
“Downgrade” only in the sense of a lower version number in my book. The New Experience Android app is the real downgrade. Any “upgrade” is probably for Plex’s benefit, not the users’.

Answer me this MJ_Plex, why are you forcing a beta version app on us. The previous app worked. This new app SUCKS. There are so many things wrong. I don’t have the time to test everything for you that is what Beta testing is. 2 quick things that are broke. 10 sec skip and being able to adjust the video playback for weak signals. I have to revert to the old app to get this done.
Question for anyone using the new app: has this been fixed yet? Can one double-tap to go forward/backwards? The forum keeps bugging me to mark it as solved but I’m not using the New Experience because, you know, I like it when thing just work.
This feature has not been reimplemented in the new version of the app yet.
