Time skip missing on 2026.9.0 client

Prior versions of the Plex client had time skip buttons either side of the pause button in the middle of the screen. Due to my hearing I use time skip a lot to recap whispered or quietly spoken conversations, but the buttons aren’t available any longer, and scrubbing can be clunky for longer videos because I always skip too far back which interrupts the flow of whatever I’m watching.

The web player does still have the time skip it’s just the client which doesn’t have it.

from what i know they are being adding back visually with other player controls but you can just double tap the right/left of the screen of player to skip forward/back during playback
