No More Manual Home Screen After April 22nd?!?!?

I’ve seen this.
Try unpinning the Movie library that is not included in Home.
Restart Plex.
Pin the library again. It may be ok now.

unfortantely not - I have now switched back to “manually managed” until the bugs are fixed

I HATE the lack of freedom to remove items from my home screen such as “Continue Watching” or “Recent Playlists”… or “Plex Pics”…etc… I don’t need Plex to tell me what I want to watch. I need Plex to give me the freedom to customize my home screen. Please pay attention to what your paying customers want instead of what you want to force onto them!

This whole thing is such a big mess. While this was an experimental feature, the outcry of the community to not do this was immense, but as usual, Plex didn’t care and pulled it off anyways.

Now we are left with an overly complicated and complex system to control what we have on our home screens, it’s unbelievable.

A complete and utter regression in UI/UX and more importantly, customer happiness.

Completely agree. Unbelievable decision. One of the worst regression ever on Plex. Whyever.

@anon18523487 as the manual homescreen is now deactivated, any chance to get the bugs fixed to make it usable again? “Merge Recently Added items” is still not working properly, not all pinned libraries marked to be displayed on Home are shown.

It’s on the list to get fixed. I don’t have an ETA.

Manual home will not be returning. Any bugs that are fixed will be for automatically managed home only

This is a poor decision.

At what point do you guys say “maybe we need to take a step back and re-evaluate what our users want.”

thanks, good to know that the issue is known and on the list. Is there a way to control “Live TV & DVR” sections displayed on home screen?
