No movie metadata absolutely none

I am having trouble getting my plex media server to fetch any movie metadata.  I have followed the various guides in the plex documentation but to no avail. I have a feeling the issue is related to connecting to the agents as I an encounter the following issues.

 

1) I cannot load settings for Agents, if i go to Settings > Agents > Movies > Freebase or The Movie Database and click the setting cog I get the following. It will dissapear after 30 secconds.

2) I cannot do a manual search for info. If i go to Libary > Movies > Select film > Incorrect Match > Match Using > Freebase or The Movie Database. I get the following error

I am stumped on what to do next so any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm having the same issue with my plex and can't figure it out. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi guys,

  I have the same problem with my qnap ts-469 pro also. Everything else seems to work fine, however i seem to get no metadata at all ( including TV Shows, Movies and music).  Any help would be much appreciated.

Same here on Synology with tv listings.. just getting no matches even though they are listing it on their website

I'm experiencing the same issue. As far as I can tell it's an API issue with Freebase. Switching to TheMovieDatabase seems to get some results at least.
