Maybe download of metadata will be fixed and proper support of Music LoL

Care to elaborate?

Metadata works fine, providing files are named half decently, Music works fine as well, only thing missing is gapless playback

Hey Barkley (@elan ) I’ll buy you a lifetime supply of these if you leak details about what your human is working on.

My biggest hope is Audiobook support. Variable speed playback and remembering your spot being the two main features required to get it working. I’d assume that’s the easy part compared to getting metadata/tagging working right. I could easily go without the latter if it means we get the former sooner.

Collections would be wonderful too. If I could have one entry for all my James Bond Movies, I’d be pretty happy.

After that, Books and Comics would be a welcome addition.

Gapless playback works fine on OpenPHT and Rasplex.

Streaming bitrate quality and pre-cache next 5 track and i would be all set. Can’t leave subsonic due to long train trips and don’t want to sync everything first. Also you can’t scrobble offline files when back online.

It does indeed, but that doesn’t help me on my commute  it’s a required feature in all plex owned applications

Strange that it only works in unofficial Plex clients! Some people would read something into that!
