No one can watch media on Plex remotely

No one can watch any media remotely. They can see the media but get a lot of server unavailable errors and timeouts. This has been ongoing for quite sometime. My Plex server is on qnap NAS.

I’m sorry but the file you provided is of little help.

  1. You turned off DEBUG logging. (it doesn’t save any space by doing so)

  2. I can’t see what it was trying to do before just “timeout” occurs.

Can you please enable DEBUG logging again.
Then recreate the failure(s) and attach a fresh set of logs ?

This is happening to me aswell, remote access green one minute, then red, direct access one minute then indirect access l, never had any problems like this before.

I too am having an issue where my family says that my “server” is off line. Yet i am online and can view my media over my home wifi. Why are they showing me off line yet i am not ??

You are not using remote access inside your house.

According to your family, you are offline because they can’t reach your server from their location

When Plex is testing the remote connection it goes green for a short time during the test

When it fails it falls back to red. This generally means, at no time was it actually working
