Hello Everyone, Looking for help here. Scratching my head why remote isn’t working even though everything looks good inside the web console. Port forwarding is setup in my router, static IP to the server, everything matches in my router and the server, plex shows it’s all green check marked as well. Attached logs to see if anyone spots an obvious issue. Let me know if I can provide more details or evidence. Thanks

Unfortunately, debug level logging has been disabled and the log files do not have enough information. The log files are a fixed size. Disabling debug logging does not save space or load on the server.

Please do the following:

  1. Reboot your router and ISP modem/gateway if one exists.

  2. Enable debug level logging. Do not enable verbose logging.
    Settings → Server_Name → General

  3. Reboot the PC running Plex Media Server.

  4. Wait 2 - 3 minutes for Plex Media Server to fully boot.

  5. Verify if remote access is enabled and working.

  6. If it is not working, disable remote access, wait 1 minute, re-enable remote access.

  7. Wait three minutes for Plex Media Server to try and enable remote access and log everything.

  8. Pull server logs (Settings → Troubleshooting), and post to the thread.

here are the logs after the troubleshooting. Now shows remote as a red check mark but indirect through relay is working for me. I have a dedicated IP set on the server and that IP set to port forward to 32400 in my router’s port forwarding for the plex service

Your logs say you’re in a double-nat setup – that can be some glitch in your own home network setup or based on how your ISP is managing their backbone / customer end points.

It might be worth to check out if there’s multiple active network components in your home setup (e.g. a router and WLAN access point that each establish their own subnets).

My router uses UPnP. I have no other devices besides a fiber modem that plugs into an RAX200. Suggestions on what I should do from here? I’ve essentially stripped out all of the rules setup for plex and static IP’s. Should I set a static via windows or router side? Have UPnP on or off? Setup port forwarding in the router again? Etc. Plex is also whitelisted in the firewall on the windows side. Kinda at a loss why im hitting so many issues here with this now. This is a newer build that I upgraded hardware with. I have updated all router firmware to recent versions
