"No Playback" with Mac OS Monterey Upgrade

Ran OS Monterey upgrade & latest PLEX server upgrade but no files will play. DB looks fine but playback on Mac, via plex TV app or IOS app just produces a UNAVAILABLE box.

Files play fine in QR on Mac and of course, everything was perfect last night before upgrade this morn … anyone else with issues?

I’m not clear on where you are seeing Unavailable but Plex Media Server is allowed to see folders/drives with media in Macs system settings Security & Privacy>Privacy>Files & Folders

It may well be that the new OS has changed the path in a small way. I have not upgraded to MacOS 12 as yet, so this is a suggestion on my side.

Pick a small library and try to recreate a path to your storage directory for that library or even better create a new Library and link to a sample file you know played previously. That might well answer the problem and the solution.

I just updated and am having the same issue. Hope there’s a fix soon.

Me too. I am on an M1 mac mini. worked fine, then did an update to Monterrey. Now on TC clients (LG and Roko in Vizio) can no longer to connect to the server.
