Testing the new version, there are no visual plugins anymore. I am still considering this decision as a bug as it removes functionallity for me.
Very optimistic of you seeing as plugin removal has been stated since last year.

thanks @dane22, I have not seen that… anyhow I would like to rephrase then my issue: I am not able to add the plugins to the sidebar anymore. If i go to more and check “online sources” it is just empty.
Correct, since plugin’s are been phased out
