I’m in the UK. I’ve just updated to server 1.16.1.1273 and set up a new DVR.
The EPG now says “powered by Plex” and not Gracenote.
There is now no schedule information for most radio channels in the EPG. BBC or commercial. It just says “radio programming.” A very few have some info (Radio 4 extra, Classic FM).
My main use of Plex is to record radio programmes. It worked quite well.
Is this permanent? Or just a temporary problem? Any work-arounds?
I think this may be a permanent, have asked Plex for the provider of the UK EPG with no response to date, but most of the free EPG UK providers, such as freeview.co.uk or tvguide.co.uk, do not appear to provide EPG for radio channels in their EPG.
Oh dear. Thanks for the background info. I’ve started to experiment with HDHomeRun’s own DVR; bit clunky and the metadata seems limited, but it does have full BBC Radio EPG info. I think it’s possible to use third-party EPGs but need to research how to do it.
