No record button in ota live tv guide

Wanted to switch to plex for ota tv dvr. Installed plex on windows 10 with no issues. Settings->live tv & dvr guide looks good has 61 channels and DVR is listed on right. The problem is when I go to live tv->computer name guide the only choice is to “watch channel”. There is no “record button”.
How do I get the record button I see on many help web pages for plex dvr?

Recording requires a Plex Pass subscription.

Thanks for fast response. Don’t see any trial period. So I guess you have to signup for a $5 month to try it and then have to go through cancelling if it doesn’t work out or changing to lifetime if it works better than my existing ota dvr.

yeah we do have one month free offers at various times but nothing at the moment.
