No Roku closed captions for live tv for last x months

Plex web player has closed captions locally & remotely but ROKU player does not. It did several server versions ago but I did not make note of the last version that worked correctly for closed captions. Any workaround or does anyone know the last server version where ROKU closed captions worked?

Turns out that enabling mpeg2 fixes the issue locally. Not sure I will be able to do this when accessing remotely.
