I am using Windows desktop app and was watching movies fine this morning. I decided to upgrade my acct to plex pass lifetime and right afterwards, it cannot find my server.
Upgrading to a Plex Pass should not have affected accessing your server. Possibly a coincidence. Have you tried restarting everything?
can’t i am remote from the server. i saw somehitn about when upgrading , DLNA was shut off?
That won’t matter. That’s not how the clients connect.
Have you tried connecting to your server directly from a web browser.
publicip:32400 or whatever remote access port you set up. If your server is working, you should get the Plex Web login page.
When i got home the NAS up and files were accessible but for some reason the Plex app was not working. I had to restart the NAS for it to work. Just strange it happened right after i upgraded.
