Plex Version 7.25.1.14216, Server Version v1.18.2.2079 - (Nvidia Shield, Ruku Ultra, Fire TV 4K) Getting “Server Unreachable” message like many others. I was showing a running server in the android app, but not though the web interface. Restarting the server via the android app didn’t help. Reverting Plex to Shield original 5.6.1.505 fixed the problem locally on the shield and the web interface, but not on any connected devices. Also, when I reverted to 5.6 I got a message about a server not being claimed. I used 5.6 to claim the server, but that did not help. Any update always breaks Plex and any device running updated software does not recognize/find/connect to the server. Is there a simple fix or a helpful log file?

Nvidia Shield plugged directly into TV. When I log into Plex app on the Nvidia Shield, it says “Please verify that the server is running and has a network connection…” ??
None of my library is available using the Nvidia Shield Plex app.
However, logging in through the network via a browser on my laptop, and I have full access and can see all library items and play them on my laptop.
Sort of defeats the purpose, as I want to use my TV
It appears that every time there is a new update to the Plex app, it kills everything and I have to wait for a solution.
More annoying, is every time the Nvidia Shield updates itself, it forces you to also update the Plex app.
Sort of a vicious circle.
Has anyone worked out a way to prevent the Nvidia Shield AND Plex app from updating? I have always followed the principal in life of “if it aint broke, don’t fix it”. When I get it all working, I would be more than happy to just let sleeping dogs lay.
Have to stay connected to the network, so that is not an option.
But in the meantime, need a fix to get this latest update working.
Currently using VLC to at least be able to access my library. VLC always just works.
Same exact issue here. I am using the internal Storage and 2 external HDD and I can’t find any of them. Never had an issue until the last update.
