Any good alternative to plex pleqse ? because is not enough reliable in my opinion…

Same as windows10 ; All of my devices can not connect to my server, there was no problem 3 days ago, this morning I tried to connect my server from my i pad, server was looking offline but it was online and I tried sony tv and apple tv , server was looking offline. I rebooted my router and I reinstall plex media server, I reset my plex library , change all library name and server name but no solution. I couldn’t find out to myself. My devices shows server name but don’t show my library and files. I need someone help.
Can you try to re-link those devices with your Plex account?
I’ve seen some users with hiccups in their environment after yesterday’s API incident (e.g. resulting in apps showing no content or not seeing a related server).
Beyond that there appears to be no general issue with Plex
I tried re-link, uninstall and reinstall plex media server as plex forum directions but no solution. My apple tv, Sony tv and i pad pro can not connect server. My plex server is working on win 10 pc and a few days ago there was no problem. I tried several times install and uninstall plex media server but no solution. I can see my library on pc , other devices show server is offline.
I was talking about re-linking the clients that can no longer see your server 
- Apple TV
- Sony TV
- iPad Pro
I removed all off devices authorized devices list, I removed and reinstall all app and I signed in again but devices couldn’t connect server. As I understand re- link means, sign out and sign in again in addition to that I removed all of devices authorized devices list.

My Nvidia Shield TV lost connection to the server
Apparently and unfortunately, have the same issue. After installing the PMS version 1.18.8.2527 few days ago, i begun having difficulties to ensure direct connection to Shield PMS. Sometimes, it said server cannot connect to internet. Some of my family members complained that they couldnt connect. I tried so many things to fix it; change tk static local IP, change PLEX port, change DNS server, etc and all seems to no avail.
Appreciate if PLEX team can look into this and fix it as quick as possible…

Just upgraded an hour ago and immediately not able to access server at all. Server says it is running in the Shield app, but not able to see it via web or any Plex App on any device.

I have the same problem! I tried to unistall/reinstall/sign out, sign in and nothing works.

@Plex Can we please get an official response please? This seems to breaking Shield functionality completely!

Same here. I reserved the IP, port forwarding on the router and app, remote staying green, but shows offline to everyone but my PC. Limited to 2 mb because of being on the relay at home. Logged everyone out, reinstalled Plex client and still the same. Server still shows available on PC only. Canyouseeme.org sees my open port. This is a PMS problem, not my system.

Just wanted to add on that I’m not seeing any options to run a media server from the plex app on my shield. I’ve had it in the past but now I’m not able to set it up again. There’s simply no options related to media server that I can find in Settings. Has media server support for shield been dropped entirely?

So after signing out and signing back in, I discovered a new server called localhost, which had was actually my old Nvidia Shield server. Somehow, the update created a new server and renamed it to something else. Can anyone else confirm this happened to them as well???
This is a problem that occurs with some frequency
The tldr is to sign into the server using a computer, claim it and rename it. You should be good to go after that.
Yes, after the API crash the other day my Nvidia Shield server is a mess. It seemed to rename itself to the original name I gave it, lost connections, no remote access, struggle with local access, and regularly get asked to reclaim this server.
I think I’ve reclaimed it 5 times in the past 3 days.
New version just been released: Version 1.18.9.2571
But the problem is still there, frequent disconnect and at the configuration page, it kept saying it does not have direct connection to the internet.
I have checked my port and got the results as below:
Success: I can see your service on XX.XX.XX.XX on port ( 32400 )
Your ISP is not blocking port 32400
Obviously, something is wrong with PMS itself. Please fix this ASAP, team!
I’m having the same problem. Was playing music then all of sudden the server just cut out and now it wont go back online. Saw there was a server update, so i updated it (version 1.18.9.2578) but it still will not work.
I looked at the release and for some reason the same time this plex server update was released was when my server stopped working. But i hadn’t even installed it yet…could that be related?
