Experiencing a strange issue where I can’t get any audio when playing MP3 or m4a files. Tested via Andriod, iOS and web clients with the same result. I’ve reencoded and tested different formats with same result. Playing MP4 video files is fine.
Is this a result from the latest update.
Direct Play or Transcoding result in the same result. No errors when launching the file, just no audio
I should add I tested the individual audio files directly and they play perfectly. As I have just started using Plex for music and audio this has me scratching my head. Plex is normally so seamless

Plex has an internal volume control in its player…is it turned all the way up?
Yep, check that. Got volume and sound when playing movies. It is doing my head in, everything else looks good. Files are definitely playable outside Plex. The fact I couldn’t even get MP3 (lame files) to play. I will wait and see.
Discoverers nothing to do with Plex. The batch of media I ripped via HyperV VM obviously doesn’t work with digital audio so even though it ripped okay there was no Audio. The files I was testing directly were from a different conversion batch…doh
