Hi,
I have installed Plex Media Server on my Synology NAS DS119j, but when trying to log in to PLEX, I keep getting No Soup for you!

Can anyone help?
How do I link my Ples email to my Synology?

Many thanks

Just to add, my DSM version is: 6.2.3-25426 Update 2.

Hi,
Thanks very much for your quick response. I am remote for now so could you please let me know what instructions to put on SSH? I use Putty.

Hi,
I have tried what you suggested.
In puTTY I put
ssh 192.168.0.26 -L 8888:localhost:32400
(where 192.168.0.26 is the NAS local IP address)
and I get the following error:
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.26 port 22: Connection refused

Any suggestions?
Thanks

  1. Syno - Control Panel - Terminal & SNMP - Enable SSH
  2. Now go back to the Putty session.

Linux is secure and will not allow such logins unless expressly enabled (which it isn’t by default)

Thanks ChuckPa, I have done SSH and it looks like it was successful. Got the following, but when putting the http://localhost:8888/web it does not connect.

SSH window:

Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added ‘192.168.0.26’ (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.

Thanks

while you have the putty session open, please type

ps -ef | grep -i plex

You should see Plex processes listed. (Server and a few "Host"s)
