since yesterday I get the weird error that even though my plex server on windows 10 states that is is reachable from the internet, I cannot stream anything.
Either I don’t even see the content, or I get a timeout, or buffering endlessly.
I have restarted the machine, restarted plex server, checked connectivity.
Everything looks good.
I have no firewalls on my PC that could cause an issue.
Until yesterday it was working just fine.
Sharing the logs, as I have no idea how to read them.
I have my server on Switzerland, and I try to stream via Internet to Greece.
Been testing with two smart TVs, LG 65SK8000PLB, Samsung from 2017 both with latest plex app version.
Also testing with an amazon 4k fire stick and smartphones with again latest versions of plex app.
On the TVs, I can see the content, but if I choose to stream something, it only buffers and then stops. No streaming possible.
On smartphones, same thing, but if I use a VPN connection through Switzerland, Plex streams just fine.
If I use a smartphone on Switzerland, with VPN via Greece, I can stream.
Amazon Fire TV stick streams, but I get a Indirect Stream.
Any idea why this happens?? Checking the Plex Server’s update history, latest update was 4-5 days ago.
No firewall on my windows machine, I have even opened a dedicated port forwarded on my router. Something that up till now was not an issue!
