No Support for Plex Pass holders?

I went looking to find out how to open a support case, and it appears that Plex doesn’t offer support even to Plex Pass holders.

If I’m wrong, please let me know how to access it.

You are correct, no official support but the community here can try and address any issues you or your friends might run into.

The support model for Plex is the forums, nothing else.

Also having or not having a Plex Pass makes no difference in the support you get or don’t get. A Plex Pass ONLY gives you access to some preview software releases (meaning you pay Plex to be a beta tester) and/or some “special” features.

In reality many people that have a Plex Pass only have one to support Plex.

Ask questions in the forums and provide details of your system and what you are trying to accomplish and provide logs and, maybe if the Plex Gods are feeling generous, you will get help.

it used to be that if you were plex pass, you’d get priority support from a plex ninja, private forum, all that. i wonder when it vanished.

It vanished when they switched to this piece of crap forum software. But in actuality the “special” support was really no better than what you get now. But it did make us Plex Pass holders “feel” special, even though we really were not.
