PMS installed on desktop PC w/Win 10 Pro. Media played on TCL Roku TV. Everything updates automatically. Media (TV shows & movies) split between storage on the same desktop PC and on a QNAP NAS.
Problem: pause, then fast forward/click thru on TV no longer shows thumbnail previews regardless of media age, x264/x265, container, storage site, metadata, personal media/agent, label. HOWEVER, when I click any media from within PMS on my desktop (Plex Web?) and pause, then mouse over any point in the timeline, the previews are there. I’m not a Plex genius. What is going on and what can I do? Is there something in the logs I can look for as a hint? I rely on the thumbnails to get past chapters I don’t care about.
