No Upgrading Matching in Manage Library to Upgrade an Existing Library to use Plex Movie Agent

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314-a0bfb8370

I don’t seem to have the (Upgrading Matching) in ellipsis menu icon in any of my libraries. I would like to use the newer Plex Movie Agent. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any assistance.

Support Articles Upgrading an Old Movie Library to Use the Plex Movie Agent

You need to do that at the manage library => edit => advanced and there is a scanner and Agent section.

What makes you think that your library doesn’t use the modern agent already?
It’s been the default for newly created libraries for years already.

It says (legacy). I know it’s been around for sometime now, but I just keep putting it off. I finally had a little time and started to look into how to update it.

It’s not available in the agents. I tried to follow the process outlined in the link I put in my post. That’s when I discovered that the upgrade feature was not available.

Can you please post a screenshot like this?

if you are using the current web app it was changed the “Library Upgrade Required” in the menu.

Regardless of how the old option was called all it did was the step that @dbirch mentioned then refreshed the metadata for library both of which you can do at any time manually

Well, I was surprised to see Plex Movie without the (Legacy)

Plex Movie and Plex Series are the new agents. Their settings are in the afvanced settings of the library itself.

Those old server agent settings in the second screenshot have no affect on the new agents.

Plex Movie/Plex Movie means you are using the modern scanner and agent
