Eventually player stopped showing video from Plex server, application stuck (can be closed only by terminating through Task Manager) with sound only on background.
Reinstall didn’t help in anyway

Are you seeing at least a program window?
If there is no visible program window, is there an item in the task bar?
Yes, I see program window, listing of movies, problem starts only when starting play movie
Then all get frozen, only sound playing
Disabled “Hardware acceleration” - problem solved
What type of video adapter is in this machine?
Embedded/on-board video or a discrete GPU?
It’s notebook, so - embedded video
But used to work before no problem. Issue comes either after update of plex player or windows. Hard to track… my wife’s device
You could try and find a newer device driver software for this machine.
But whether it’s going to change anything is uncertain.
