In Windows 10 I have encountered two undocumented issues that I have had no success repairing through any of the usual methods. Device Manager, Registry Edits, Power Options, Driver Updates. Behavior is isolated to the new “Plex” client, error is not reproduced while using the now out of support Plex Media Player Application.
There are two key issues that I would like to report.
- No Audio During Video Playback: Only one video can play per application session with 7.1 NVIDIA HDMI output enabled. I.E. If autoplay is enabled the first item that plays will have audio the next video that plays will have no audio. The only working way to get audio playback working again is to close and relaunch Plex.
- No Music Playback: Music tracks do not play back and open up a Plex Error Message box that states error #14 without any description of the error. I have researched this error code to no avail.
If anyone shares either issue with me it would be much appreciated if they would speak up so maybe we can share insight and attempt to gain resolution for our Plex errrs together!
