I have had my Plex server up and running for quite a while with no issues. Lately I have been having this message show up on all of the recordings for a given day.
I am using Plex DVR to record live TV programs. I have a bunch of TV shows set up to record all new episodes, and they do show up in the guide to be recorded. When I check the ‘Recordings’ tab the day after the shows should have been recorded, all of the shows scheduled for the previous day have the yellow triangle with an exclamation point that has the message ‘No write access to destination’ pop up when I hover the mouse cursor over the triangle.
If I reboot the Plex Server and the Netgear Readynas used for storing the recordings, the scheduled recordings for the next few days get recorded just fine, for a day or two, then the problem re-occurs.
Here are some details on my setup: (probably more than needed)
Plex Server is running on a Lenovo Thinkserver TS140 running Windows 10 Pro.
Recordings are OTA (antenna) from one HDHomeRun Connect (2 tuner) and one HDHomeRun HDHR5-4US (4 tuner).
Recorded programs are being stored on a Netgear ReadyNas Ultra 2 plus with two 3tb WD Red hard drives (raid 0).
All of my network connections are gigabit using cat 6a cables.
The ReadyNas, HDHomeRun HDHR5-4US and the Lenovo TS140 are connected to the same D-Link unmanaged 8-port switch. The HDHomerun Connect is in another room on a different D-Link unmanaged 8-port switch.
Both of the switches (and two others) are connected to a Technicolor C2100T router/modem.
