Non-smart TV no longer loads plex, regardless of Roku, Chromecast or Firestick used to access Plex

I have an LG non-smart TV in my home that I use a Roku, Chromecast and Firestick to access Plex on. All the streaming devices are on the same network as my Plex server. All 3 streaming devices no longer play Plex content. I get to 33% then it errors out. Other devices internal in my home and external don’t see the issue. I rolled back the Plex server version from 1.25.3.5409-f11334058 to 1.25.2.5319-c43dc0277 and the issue seemed to be resolved, but the issue is back today. Would love feedback on other actions to try. Apologies if I did not post this in the right place!

I can take those same devices and connect to other tvs and they work fine.

Could it be the signal strength of wifi at the location of the TV?

Thanks for the suggestion, but no, same location has worked fine for years. I can stream from the same location with my android phone just fine. But when I tell it to cast, it won’t display on the tv. Also, the thumbnails aren’t necessarily lloading either on the tv.

Oh, you’re Casting it to the TV? I didn’t see that before.

I haven’t had much experience using casting. Are you casting to the TV, or to the apps installed on streaming boxes plugged in?

Casting is only one method. I’ve also tried Roku and Amazon Fire to the same TV. Plex Live channels works fine as does Plex Tidal for music, so it is an issue with content on my server. Last night a roku on another tv started showing the same behavior. I’ve rolled back Plex versions, but wondering if something may be corrupt and a more aggressive reinstall may be required?

I have resolved this issue. Windows had changed my Network to “Public” which blocked specific ports that would pass-thru on the internal network. Once I changed all works. Thanks divideby0 for the assist!
