Not able to cast Plex on Samsung M5 Smart Monitor

Hi I am trying to cast plex video from My Samsung Android device S20 to My Samsung M5 Smart Monitor powered by Tizen. when I click on connect to device icon from top right corner no device is showing up “No players found.”… I can cast my YouTube where my monitor getting listed there in you tube cast button… I got plex app in monitor but have to manually select video but can’t cast directly. sad.

Is the Plex app running on the monitor? We can’t open the app on the TV so it must already be open to see it listed on the mobile app.

Yes Plex App installed on monitor and it’s running.

Do you have Plex Media Server (PMS) installed. I believe the Plex for Samsung app requires PMS in order to cast content.

Also, what are you trying to cast? You mentioned Plex video. Do you mean the free ad-supported content from Plex? If so, you can’t cast Plex content.
