not able to watch plex

So I have an issue. When I log into the plex server and check the settings it shows everything is ok. However, I am unable to stream any movies on my phone, nexus player, as well as my friends are unable to see my server. It was working fine the other day. Windows 10 did an update yesterday and when i logged on today, plex isn’t working. my plex server is Version 0.9.16.6.

Can you play files locally (ie: on your internal network)? Is this just a problem with remote access?

no. I am unable to play them. My phone and the nexus is on the local network.

Without logs, I can only guess - but it sounds like you don’t have room on your drive to transcode the files. Plex requires free space on the transcoding drive equal to the size of the file + 100MB. If you post your Plex server log we can check to make sure that’s the problem.

Close Plex server. Restart it. Wait two minutes. Try to play a file that causes problems. Wait one minute after that, then close Plex server and upload the server log here.

Please turn off verbose on the logging and make sure you aren’t including any tokens in the server log. Delete the attached file in your previous post, please.

After you do that, repeat the steps for closing and starting the Plex server, and use a client that causes problems on playback to attempt to play it. Upload the new log.

I tried to log in on my phone both on LAN and on Carrier network.

My friend is able to access my server from his account. So it looks like it is more of something on my end. Not sure where.

So when I changed the setting to allow unsecured servers I was able to access to server. How do I fix that now?
